2016 Summer School Afternoon Club

Summer School Afternoon Club is a program for children that runs the same weeks and days as summer school.  Children come right from their summer school class and report to the Middle School New Gym every day at noon and check in with their Afternoon Club Instructor.

  •  Mondays and Wednesdays kids will stay at Middle School for arts and crafts, games, speakers, special entertainment and play outside.
  •  Tuesdays and Thursdays they check in at the Middle School New Gym, and after lunch walk to the pool and play at Swiss Alps Playground.
  •  Friday, they should check in at Middle School Gym and a separate bus will take them to one of the city parks.
  •  Fill out a summer school transportation form (below) and turn into Park and

Recreation before June 1st.  Students will need to stop and get a t-shirt to wear the first day for staff to be able to identify kids.  T-shirts are for the first & second day of each session and to wear on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  •  If your child is NEW to the program, please bring a picture to Park and Recreation with the registration form.
  •  Parents need to pack a lunch daily.
  •  You must have a pool pass to be admitted into the pool or send money with your child to pay the daily admission fee.
