Recommend to Council to accept bids and award contract to Rock Road Companies for the reconstruction of 8th Street from STH 69 to 6th Avenue West for the contracted sum of 3,753,922.52.  We would like to reserve the right to accept Alternate   # 1 and #2 after further review of the process submitted for these bid items.  The alternates could have a cost savings of $44,663.71

Recommend to Council to Hire Fehr Graham and Associates for Construction Management Services
Recommend hiring Fehr Graham and Associates for Construction Management Services for the 8th Street Project.  Work would entail pre construction meetings, construction inspection, construction staking, material testing, and construction record drawings.  Work to be completed for $412,520.00
